Imagine a river that looks like a liquid rainbow. I went to La Macarena last year, and it was a dream come true. I flew in a small plane and walked through the jungle to find the red plants (Macarenia clavigera). The colors were so bright that I couldn't believe my eyes!

You must visit the "Los Oquidales" sector to see the best colors. You should also go to Karol Cristal for a refreshing swim. If you want a great photo, you can hike to the highest viewpoints. You have to sign up for a guided tour because you cannot enter the park alone.

🎒 Section 3: Unforgettable Activities (What to Do)

There are many things to do. If you follow the guide, you will learn about the fragile ecosystem. If you stay quiet, you hear many exotic birds. You would like to try the "ternera a la llanera" for dinner. You must take photos, but you have to be careful not to touch the plants in the water.

You must not wear sunscreen or repellent inside the water to protect the plants. You don't have to bring heavy boots, but comfortable sneakers are necessary. If you protect the river, it stays beautiful for everyone. I used to think it was expensive, but you can save up money to make this trip happen!
